Bruna: Prije sam se sama, ali nikadaa nisam dobila željenu boju. Od tada idem frizerki :)

Marta: I used to do it myself but out of the box dyes ruin your hair so now I stopped

Bruna: 2-3 puta tjedno...

Marta:2 times a week

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?

Bruna: To ovisi o mom raspoloženju, pa bih rekla da mijenjam!

Marta: I try to change it but it never works.

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?

Bruna: Sama, ali prije ljeta se počastim lijepom pedikurom ;)

Marta: I do it myself until summer, then I usually go get pedis.

7. How often do you change your nail polish?

Bruna: Rekla bih 2 put tjedno..

Marta: Every other day.

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, or just in the summer?

Bruna: Samo ljeti, zimi ne volim lakirati, pusti ih da dišu

Marta: All year round. You never know who will see your toes :)

9. How long does it take you to put your make up on?

Bruna: Ako se žurim 5-10 minuta, ako se ne žurim, onda mi treba jedno 20 minuta.

Marta: I can do it in 5 minutes or in 45 minutes. Depends on what I am getting ready for.

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?

Bruna: Oči

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?

Bruna: Pa u biti kupujem onda kad mi nešto treba, osim ako ne naletim na nešto povoljno :)

Bruna: Ne nosim ih...

Marta: Only when I have a special event/party to go to.

13. Do you do a full face of make up everyday?

Bruna: Pa i ne baš, volim pustiti kožu da diše, a svaki dan da se šminkam mislim da bi mi koža vrištala

Marta: No. I wear mascara everyday and the rest depends on where I am going.

Bruna: NE!

Bruna: Da, zašto ne ? Mislim osim ako mi nije prišt veličine graška na licu, onda ću ga malo zakamuflirati :D

Marta: As little as possible. I hate handbags.

Marta:I get up early and go to sleep late. I like to make the most out of my day.

 Bruna: Ne vježbam baš, u zadnjih par godina sam dosta lijena što nije baš pohvalno. Ali, zato ću sad krenuti, jer ipak još malo pa je ljeto.

Marta: When I go to the gym (I have to start up again) i go everyday and usually at 7am (I'm a morning person).

DIY Chanel Bottle Room Decor

Hello lovies,   I recently made this little decor piece for my new makeup table (which i have yet to get by the way). I like pearls and glassy things so it was a perfect combo. I LOVE the Chanel No. 5 bottles and although I think its an old lady perfume (sorry for those who like it), I had to grab myself a bottle to make this. Luckily, my mom likes the perfume and she had an old vintage bottle lying around which she gave me. For this tutorial I used pearls because they happen to be one of my faves. Of course you can use any size or color beads you would like.

What you need:

Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle (empty) Old fake pearl necklaces, bracelets, anything that can be ripped apart Instructions: 1. Empty the remaining drops in the bottle and wash it in lukewarm water several times. Be careful of the emblem as if you use too much soap and too hot water, it may come off.  

 2. Dry the bottle out completely. I left mine upside down on a towel for 1 day.  

3. Destroy or take apart the beaded necklace or bracelets. You will need just the loose beads.  

4. Toss the beads into the bottle and put the top back on! Of course you can add in the some glitter here, ain't nothing wrong with a little glitter.  

  And there it is! What a beauty right? I put mine on my dresser for now, but as soon as my makeup table is up, I will be adding this on the table for an added decor piece.

Hello ladies, I decided to put together a compilation of some of my favorite manicures this March   My favorite seems to be glitter and bright colors this time of year. I definitely started to experiment with different types of glitter top coats recently.  

  Nail polishes used: Essie, Barry M, Wet N Wild, Essence, Forever 21, L'Oreal.    10 Tricks to make your natural nail polish last longer   1. Shorter nails: Keep your nails short to avoid getting them caught in your hair or clothes. This will prevent premature chipping.

2. Invest in the best top coat: The best top coat is a light quick drying top coat. I recommend Essence Studio nails. It dries in seconds and lasts very long!

3. Use gloves: When washing dishes or cleaning the house, keep the mani fresh by wearing gloves. You can even add some lotion on before placing your hands in the gloves for an added moisturizing hand treatment.

4. Allow for enough dry time: Even when using a quick dry top coat, be sure to allow the right amount of drying time. Paint them and watch TV for one 30 minute show. This allows all the chemicals to evaporate and the nail polish to dry properly.


5. Seal the edge: When painting your nails, be sure to go over the edge of the nail horizontally. This area is where the chipping usually starts. Painting it will prevent early chipping.

6. Thinner strokes: Apply thinner and less strokes. The less polish you put on, the quicker it will dry and the longer it will last.

7. File in one direction: Whichever direction you file in, make sure its either to the left or to the right, never back and forth. Alternating directions weakens the nail, making it more prone to breakage.

Replica makeup- Not a bargain... just toxic!

When it comes to brand names and designers, let's face it, we all want the best stuff. And although there are many fake and counterfeit versions out there, makeup is NOT one that you should be buying a knock-off version of. So leave your fakes for the purses and when it comes to your skin or hair, purchase the real deal as that Naked palette you bought for $5 and thought was a huge bargain, may actually be poisoning you.

Counterfeit cosmetics are not only made in a non sterile environment but they may contain carcinogenic ingredients that are banned from use in the actual cosmetic and cause long term problems within your skin.

There have been many reported cases of women developing skin conditions due to the use of fake make-up. Some of these conditions include swelling, acne and even psoriasis. Not to mention that some governmental bodies have confirmed that the profits made from fake makeup is used to fund drug smuggling!

How to spot a fake:

1. Only buy from a licensed seller.

2. Compare the packaging, if the color is way off, its a fake.

4. Most importantly of all, if it comes from a site you are not familiar with and the price seems to good to be true-- it is! This is the obvious sign of a fake!

So, to assure you are taking the best care of your skin, when shopping for makeup, if you can't afford the real stuff- Don't buy the "bargain" version. You may be doing much more harm than good. Before you click the purchase button for that "too good to resist" Naked palette, make sure it's real Naked and not Faked!

March Favorites

Napokon favoriti za mjesec ožujak :)  Make - up

Vratila sam se opet svojem najdražem puderu u kamenu Catrice All Matt plus - shine control powder u nijansi 015 natural beige. Obožavam ovaj puder, lijepo matira lice, što je meni potrebno pošto imam mješovitu kožu, a za toplijeg vremena se dosta masti. Tako da thumbs up za ovaj puderčić svakako preporučujem!!! Essence tekući puderi su mi ok pa sam htjela probati neki koji do sada nisam, a to je all about matt! oil free :) što je suuuper jer kao što sam prije rekla to mi treba, znači sve što je mat i oil free! 12 sati traje, tako piše, iskreno ne znam da li toliko traje jer nisam ga imala na licu više od 8 sati, čim dođem doma skidam šminku, ali jednom ću svakako probati izdržati 12 sati pa Vam javim!  U svakom slučaju, dobro prekriva, i nema onaj efekt " fasade " što mi jako odgovara, jer volim prirodni izgled koji ujedno dobro i prekriva. Bronzer, da, da počela je moja sezona bronzera, čekala sam da nam sunce napokon proviri ispod silnih crnih oblaka. Koristim ja bronzer i zimi, tu i tamo, ali kad krene proljeće i ljeto tu nastupa pravo korištenje bronzera.  Opet Essence bronzing compact powder nijansa 01 bronzing queen. ( mislim da je izašao iz linije) nažalost. Predivna boja, predivni bronzer. 

Tijelo
U Kozmo su se napokon vratili Freeman proizvodi, nitko sretniji od mene. Obožavam njihove proizvode, pogotovo peel off masku od krastavaca. Pa sam si tako kupila piling za tijelo sa šećerom i narom. Mmm kad bi Vam mogla prenijeti taj miris da ga osjetite veličanstven je, predivne teksture, uklanja mrtve stanice kože s tijela, ostavljajući kosu mekom i glatkom. Ono što mi se najviše sviđa je to što piling nije uljasti, ne volim uljaste pilinge niti malo.

Kosa Organix, do sada sam samo slušala od Marte kako su super njihovi šamponi, a sada sam napokon mogla probati. Kokos? Može prodano!! Ne mogu Vam previše toga reći, jer nisam dosta dugo koristila ovaj šampon. Ovih par puta što sam ga koristila, moju kosu je toliko omekšao, više mi se ne petlja kao prije, i vratio joj se sjaj. Za sada sam jako oduševljena.

Nokti

Eveline diamond hard and shiny nails, o da Vaši nokti su stvarno tvrdi, zdravi, ne listaju se. Preporučujem!!!!

Znate ono kad nalakirate nokte 20 minuta prije nego trebate krenuti van, a imale ste dobra 4 sata prije za nalakirati nokte ? Ok to se meni uvijeeek dogodi, i naravno kako moj nokti nakraju izgledaju? Da li je moj lak uredan i lijep ? NIJE, uvijek se negdje zakačim ili moram baš tada u torbi nešto uzeti. Zbog nemogućnosti lakiranja nokti na vrijeme našla sam si malog spasioca, isprva skeptična ipak sam mu odlučila dati priliku. Essense express dry drops. Male čarobne kapi sada čine moje nokte suhim i lijepim ;)

Random Film/Muzika/Knjiga

Film sam pogledala prije par dana, i stvarno mi se jako svidio, toliko emocija sam proživjela. Tužan je, ali isplati se. Album Jamesa Arthura samo jedna riječ predobro! A Lucy in the sky knjiga Paige Toon, ljubavna priča, pravo malo štivo, za sve koji vole takvu tematiku.
