Do's and Dont's- Beauty Routine

DO

1. Experiment with trends and color. If you don't like it, wash it off and try another again! You've got to wash your face anyway so why not experiment.

2. Define your brows. It will make a noticeable difference and make you look younger in the process.

3. Use a retinol product. It helps iron out wrinkles and clears blemishes!

4. Use an eye cream. The delicate skin around our eyes needs special attention. Especially in your early years. More moisture=less wrinkles!

5. Incorporate SPF into your moisturizer or primer.

6. Use waterproof mascara on your bottom lashes. Waterproof formulas will ensure you don't get raccoon eyes.

7. Wash your makeup brushes regularly! 
8. Exfoliate! You should be exfoliating your whole body once a week.

DON'T

1. Thickly line your bottom lash line. Placing too much emphasis on your lower lash line drags your eye down, making your eyes look smaller and making you look older.

2. Wear your blush too low. Wearing blush below your nose visually drags your cheeks down, making you look older and your cheeks saggier.

4. Using old wedge sponges to apply your foundation. These soak up your foundation and hold bacteria. 

5. Line only the outside of your lips with liner and after you put your lipstick on. This can look too fake. Line before your lipstick and most of all, make sure the colors match!
6. Use bronzer all over your face and neck. Use a light bronzer on the high points of your cheeks and under your hair line in the summer. I suggest a matte one to avoid the glitter face aftermath.


7. Use one eye shadow brush for everything. The colors will never come to light as they will all blend together making a big brown mess. Each and every brush is made for a reason and should be used accordingly.    8. Wear a white, light light pink, or light nude lip color. Your lip color should always be at least one shade darker than your natural lips. Going lighter will have a negative affect and make you look fake and your lips thinner.

Sleeping Beauty

Ponekad bi bilo lijepo spavati 100 godina i probuditi se prekrasne kože, naspavani , to se ipak  događa samo u bajkama. Donosimo Vam par savjeta, kako zablistati ujutro bez imalo truda, jer se sva čarolija događa dok Vi spavate!

• Uvijek, ali uvijek skinite šminku prije spavanja. Znam da je ponekad to najveća muka koja Vam se desi, ali ipak par minuta vremena za zdravlje i ljepotu naše kože svi imamo. Naše pore luče sebum koji pomaže hidratizirati kožu, šminka začepljuje pore i to može izazvati prištiće i akne, a to nije baš zabavno, zar ne?

• Ljepota dolazi iznutra, jedite zdravo, pokušajte dodati neki protein ili omega- 3 masne kiseline u Vašu prehranu. Orašasti plodovi i riba daju prekrasan sjaji Vašoj koži. I naravno pijte puno vode!!!

• Nakon kupanja ili tuširanja, hidratizirajte kožu mlijekom za tijelo ili losionom, koža će Vam biti zahvalna.

• Kreme koje sadrže retinol i vitamin C, najbolje koristiti noću jer sunčeva svjetlost može poništiti njihov učinak.

• Bore? Nitko ih ne može izbjeći, ali možemo usporiti njihovo pojavljivanje. Spavanje na pamučnim jastučnicama može izazvati nabore na koži, i time pospješiti stvaranje bora. Umjesto pamučnih jastučnica, koristite one od svile ili satena :)

• Želite li duže trepavice? Koristite ricinusovo ulje, koje možete kupiti u ljekarni. Ricinusovo ulje bogato je omega-6 masnim kiselinama koje pomaže hidratizirati trepavice. Koristite svaku večer, ujutro samo isperite mlakom vodom.Rezultate bi trebale primijetiti već nakon nekoliko tjedana!

• Leave-in conditioner, nanesite na kosu prije spavanja, jer tako ima više vremena da prodre u Vašu kožu i nahrani ju. Ja koristim kokosovo ulje i stvarno sam zadovoljna.

• Za nježne i zdrave ruke nanesite kremu, ili ulje, ili vazelin, i obucite pamučne rukavice. Ujutro ćete imati prekrasne ruke. Isto vrijedi i za noge!!

• Moja najgora noćna mora su natečene oči ujutro!! Trik, dvije čajne žličice noć prije u zamrzivač, i ujutro par minuta na oči. Smanjuje natečenost, i brzinski Vas razbuđuje. Koristite i kremu koja sadrži kofein kao jedan od sastojaka.

• Nemate vremena za pravljenje frizure ujutro, navečer nakon što opere kosu, oblikujte frizuru. Napravite pletenicu, punđu, i ujutro ćete se probuditi s gotovom frizurom, dovoljno je samo par minuta da ju styling kose. Jer ipak svi mi ponekad pretjerujemo s peglama, i figarima, ovu je odlična i zdrava alternativa.

Donosim Vam par favorita veljače, nije puno ali to sam stvarno mahnito koristila ovaj mjesec.

Pa krenimo...

Tijelo Parfem mjeseca je definitivno bez imalo sumnje L`Occitane Cherry Blossom. Proljeće zapakirano u 100 ml predivne bočice. Idealan za proljeće i ljeto. Lagan, elegantan i svjež miris. 

Lice 

Ah taj Vazelin.. koristim ga najviše za usnice, prije primjene ruža. Lijepo omekša usnice i priprema ih za ruž. Isto tako počela sam ga koristiti za odstranjivanje šminke, poslije samo dobro operem lice. Lice ostaje nevjerojatno mekano nakon upotrebe Vazelina. Nedavno sam kupila Balea creme peeling s aloa verom, jako sam zadovoljna njime, hidratizira kožu i ostavlja ju mekom i glatkom. Koristim ga jednom tjedno, ima puno zrnaca koji lijepo poliraju kožu.  Iako nema ništa bolje od malo meda i smeđeg šećera, ali ponekad nemam vremena za spravljanje pilinga iz kućne radinosti :)  Oriflame pure nature sapun sa čajevcem i ružmarinom za lice i tijelo, oduševljena sam njime. Koristim ga najviše navečer, jer lijepo umiruje kožu. Svakako preporučujem.
Make-up

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balm stain 055 Adore. Još malo pa ću ga početi koristiti i prije nego idem spavati, stalno ga koristim. Predivna boja, predivna tekstura, ostaje dugo i ne isušuje usnice, ne ostavlja osjećaj ljepljivosti.
Catrice re-touch light- reflecting concealer, otklanja znakove umora, i prekriva podočnjake, šta više reči.
Essence Lash mania reloaded, odlična pigmentacija, lijepo odvaja trepavice, ne trusi se, i daje dimenziju očima,  oduševljena, za cijenu je stvarno super maskara. Nažalost Essence pigmenti su izašli iz prodaje, pa sam otišla kupiti par komada dok ih još bilo, a na kraju sam izašla iz Dm-a sa samo 2 pigmentića. Ovo je jedan od ta 2. Zove se Strawberry smoothie :) . Predivna roza boja. Inače nisam ljubitelj roze boje na očima, ali ova boja mi se jako svidjela i morala sam ju kupiti.

Inače volim zemljane tonove, pa stvarno ne znam što mi je bilo ovaj mjesec, ali sam kupila sjenilo Essence purple clouds, i da budem iskrena mislim da je ime presudilo, iako je i boja baš slatka. Pa reko nek se nađe :)

Nokti/ruke

Nail candies 6 in 1 Marshfellows, nova linija lakova za njegu noktiju i oporavak s voćnim mirisom, dostupno u 7 pastelnih boja. Lak učvršćuje nokte, štiti nokte od dnevnih napora i nepravilnosti, pruža visoki sjajan završetak. Krema za ruke Oriflame Milk and Honey koristim ju kratko, ali stvarno njeguje ruke, preporučujem za sve ljubitelje mirisnih krema za ruke.
Kosa Nekako sam uvijek skeptična i previše pažljiva kada je u pitanju kosa. Imam stvarno gustu kosu, i rijetko koji proizvod čini čuda. E pa drage moje mythos stvarno čini čuda, maska za kosu od masline, meda, soje i pšenični proteini. Koristim svaki put kada perem kosu. Nanese se na čistu i opranu kosu od korijena prema vrhovima, zamotam u topli ručnik i ostavim da djeluje 30 minuta, iako piše 5-8 minuta. Nakon toga isperem. Kosa je  poslije mekana, sjajna i nahranjena.

Sleek Palettes Product Review

I recently purchased 2 Sleek Palettes. I was attracted to the colors in the palette is what attracted me first to Au Naturel and then Storm. I must say they have great color choices and rich eye shadows, however, I have my pros and cons. Firstly, I decided on the Au Naturel palette and when realizing that the current sale is a good opportunity, I decided to get the Storm one as well. It's a good thing I did. If I had just bought the Au Naturel one, I would have been one upset blogger. They're matte colors are IMPOSSIBLE to put on. What do I mean? They are so dry and so lightly pigmented that the only use for them that I could think of is as wet eye shadow or wet eyeliner. The Au Naturel palette has more matte than shiny shadows and the Storm palette the opposite. That's why it's a good thing I bought both.

STORM

The box itself I love. Its a bit harder to open (which makes it sturdier). Its small and thin, which makes it easy to take with you. The inside top is a big mirror which is awesome when you need to touch up somewhere where there is no mirror around. So in choosing a Sleek palette (which I still do recommend), I would advise choosing one which has more shiny shadows as opposed to matte ones.

If you are looking for a great palette, I would recommend one from Sleek in the end. Although, be careful when choosing a palette. Unless you like to add water to your eyeshadow to make it wet eyeshadow, I would go with a palette that has more sparkly shadows than matte. They are not super sparkly when you put them on, they are just a better texture to work with.

Odstranjivač šminke Vazelin odstranjuje šminku u par poteza. Samo trebate dobro isprati, da nebi izazvao iritaciju oka. Suha koža Suhe noge i ruke, laktovi ? Prije spavanja nanesite na suhe dijelove, ujutro će te se probuditi sa glatkom i nježnom kožom.

Usne Možete koristiti za osjetljive usnice, isušene , ispucane. Ili kao piling, trebate dodati samo malo smeđeg šećera. Mrlje od boje za kosu
Utrljajte vazelin uz liniju kose, po vratu i iza uha, na taj način ćete izbjeći mrlje od boje. Highlighter Malu količinu vazelina stavite na obraze, za lijepi sjaj.
Manikura
Odličan je za njegu kutikula.Malu količinu nanesite, ostavite da djeluje par minuta, i s lakoćom ćete kutikule pogurati nazad.

Dugotrajni parfem
Nanesite ga na točke gdje inače stavljate parfem, i duže će trajati miris. Make-up
Za  kremasto sjenilo ili rumenilo, samo dodajte malo vazelina. Kosa
Malu količinu stavite na kosu, i tako je stilizirajte, primjetit ćete da  će nakon nekog vremena vaša kosa biti zdravija. Može i ukrotiti neposlušne vlasi. 

What's on my phone? Tag

 This tag is ever so popular in blogs and videos across the Internet and so I decided I have to make one of my own as I got most of my app ideas from other people's tags. So here it is, in all its glory, the what's on my iPhone tag!

 

The above are the 3 "pages" I currently have in my phone. The first page is filled with app copies or "pretty versions" if you will, from CocoPpa. By the way, if your not aware of this app, you must try it out as you can personalize your phone apps and make your phone all pretty with it. The app just creates shortcuts of the applications in your phone so be aware that you have to keep the real apps somewhere on your mobile still. You can also assign a picture to a certain contact for sms or call or a certain email address. You cannot assign a picture to any of the apps that come with the phone standard. Only the ones that you download extra.

I have decided to explain the more unique apps that I have as most of you already know what apps such as Facebook and  Instagram are. Of course if you have any questions on a app that's not mentioned, feel free to ask in the comments below:

Multipluscard: This is my Konzum/Kozmo card digitized! This is so I don't have to carry the card around with me everywhere.

Pink Pad: My period/PMS tracker

My Shopping List: A great app where you can just choose items (includes pictures) that you need to buy and it creates a grocery list for you. Then you just check them off when you put them in your cart!

Craftgawker: An amazing app that has TONS of craft ideas gathered from all over the Internet!

Stylegawker: Just like the above, this app gathers style and fashion ideas from all over the Internet.

Relax M: This is a great app for relaxation music. I use it while in the sauna after the gym or before I go to bed if I can't sleep. 

Candy Crush: The ever so popular candy crush. At first I was against this game, but like most people, I too soon got addicted!

Wunderlist: This app is awesome for making lists for shopping, packing, to-do, basically anything. Once you complete the thing on the list, you check it off!

Pixlr Express: This is my go-to photo editing app. It has the most frames, exposures, overlays, and fonts available for free! You can make any picture amazing on this app. It is definitely a mist have!

InstaBokeh: This is my bokeh photo editing app. It has a ton of options for free for adding light effects such as hearts, stars, and polka dots on top of your photos.

BokehCam: Almost the same app as above except here, you can add individual stars, hearts and polka dots.

Dumb Ways to Die: This is the funniest and cutest game. Its very quick and you have to perform various tasks to try and save the little guys in the game :)

Hubbie: to instantly call my fiance

Facebook: to access Facebook

Email: to send an email to my mom

Messenger: to access Facebook messenger

Font Candy: This is a photo editing app where you can add words on top of photos.

Cutify Me: Also a photo editing app that allows you to add cute pictures and frames to your photos!

Framatic: This is a photo editor which allows you to make collages with your pictures.

Lock + Call: I use this app to customize my call screen based on who calls.

Beauty Plus: This is such a cute photo editing app that allows you to fix blemishes, do some botox work and even remove weight! Lol

Travel-

Maps, Passbook and Newstand came with the phone

Tripcase: I use this app to keep track of all my trips. I add the flight itinerary here and then track the gate numbers and flight numbers when needed.

Currency: My currency converter. Since I travel so much, I needed a reliable currency converter. With this app, you choose the currencies you use and convert between any of them. It updates automatically according to the currency value at the time.

The iPhone 5, 5c and 5s are all adapt with cat paw sensitivity, which means your cat can touch the screen and it will react to their touch, but will not scratch it. The games below I have for when my kitty is bored and needs some mommy and me time.

Lara-

Cat Fishing: A fishing game for cats where they catch fish that appear on the screen.

Jitterbug: Different kinds of bugs walk around your screen and cats can tap on them to make them disappear.

Cat Game: This is my cat's favorite app. The app includes a laser pointer which shoots around the screen and makes a noise when she touches it with her paw.

 The last two sub categories is my apps and stuff page. This is where the majority of the apps I have are kept hidden away because I mostly use the shortcuts on page 1 to open them.

Reminders, Game center, iTunes, Videos came with the phone

Emoji 2: My emoji keyboard app.

Monogram: This is an awesome app for making monogram wallpapers. It has the largest selection for free.

And there we have it, my whole phone unveiled! Hopefully I have given you some great ideas for trying out new apps and of course I am always open to suggestions on new apps which will simplify my life and make it unique! Let me know any suggestions below!

DIY Body Scrubs

  Why spend hundreds of kuna on a spa day when you can make one yourself at home! All you need is a bathtub, some candles, sweet music and a DIY homemade body scrub. We picked some of our faves to share with you for inspiration! The ingredients can be mixed as little or as much as you would like. If you want a more rough scrub, add more salt or sugar, for a lighter scrub, go heavy on the oils. Feel free to share your thoughts!    

 Mmm coconut. This is a great summer scrub! The coconut oil is a wonderful moisturizer and the lime juice adds to that summery smell.
